I sure he has 1, but just didn't bring it out. He'll surely show it off once they really start to hit the street.

A few more pics...........
Those tires are Pirelli’s, they are the new tread pattern for the DOT-race tires. The tread pattern that came spec’ed on the 1098’s was the 2006 DOT-race tires / tread pattern. (still being made in 2007 thou)
Thats my Tricolore!

Mike-
Your bike looks great. BTW - my bike is finally back from Monterey Powersports. Turns out, after waiting 2 weeks for parts from DNA for my termi system we found out:
1) On the early TCs (mine was the first in Monterey) the full termi system that was provided uses the stock header mount on the rear cylinder.
2) The stock air cleaner was basically identical to the performance one - and that with the early TCs they didnt provide an aircleaner.
Why DNA didnt figure this out right away, and waited until the parts got there and didnt fit I dont know.
Anywho, per our PM, my cost was substantially lower then quoted since I had put the termi's on my self.

I would echo that sentiment. However, until the "Desmo's" are out, he does have an interesting motorcycle to ride.

Hi Dave,
Do you still have the Termi cartons? There should be markings on those boxes that either have your VIN number or the dearler stock number on the box that coincides with your bike. The termis I got for my bike were another VIN number, they found this mistake out at the dealer. My boxes went to someone who bought a TC before me. No big deal, everything mounted up fine on mine.

The boxes are currently at the dealer - will pick up when I go back down to pick up my car from BMW service.

The Desmosedici may not be a very good street bike. I feel the 1098 is an extremely versatile bike.
