Ducati Dealer Meeting in Monterey-Trick 1098-More Pics Pg 2
Imagine my surprise as I ride down Alvarado on the way home tonight and Ducati North America is set up at the local theater, showcasing all their new merchandise to Dealers. This bike belongs to the CEO of DNA, and Alex the Promo Manager and I went on a quick ride down Cannery Row and Pacific Grove.
Full mag wheels, carbon fiber pieces everywhere, titanium rods, race throttle.
Remember the killer paint job on the Martini Porsches from years ago? Thats what inspired the graphics.
Sorry for the cheap camera phone pics........
There was a 2008 metallic black 1098s with a red frame that looked really nice, but he wouldnt let me take pics. All this stuff will be displayed on Ducati Island this weekend at Laguna.

What do you mean a 2008 black metallic 1098S?
All black 1098's are semi-metallic with a red frame and they're all "S" models.

Thats what Alex told me. He is the promotions manager for ducatiusa. Alex is the one that I rode with.
This bike came off the back of an enclosed van , along with the other display bikes. They are set up inside a local movie theatre lobby, where the dealer meeting for Ducati is happening. I am sure they will all be displayed at Ducati Isalnd this weekend at Laguna.

Nice to see the real italian style taste on this bike. Cannot compared to anything else and has it own taste, just like a Martini.
